Zachary McFadden was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Without much support from those around him dance wise, at a young age Zachary studied Hip-Hop privately from teachers in the Bed Stuy neighborhood in Brooklyn. He went on to study dance at the High School of Art and Technology in the Upper West Side of Manhattan (Lincoln Center). He then moved on to study dance at Niagara County College in upstate New York.
Zachary has danced for and choreographed for multiple NYC indie artists and dance companies throughout NYC. Tomas Bell (owner of Tomasian Entertainment LLC), Carnal Fury, and Vanity Force dance company just to name a few. He’s also worked with NYC Public schools, NIKE, and SYEP to raise awareness for youth through dance on issues such as bullying and domestic violence.
Zachary believes dance is not just restricted to those who are able to formally train and take class. He believes it truly takes determination and passion to help one excel in the art. Zachary can be found currently teaching high school students in the Upper West side of Manhattan. He is also in the works of starting a miniature dance company for low-income youth in NYC.
